What is the deadline to purchase citrus?
We accept orders and donations through December 3, 2016.
Can I order online?
When and where can I pick up pre-ordered citrus?
Orders will be available for pickup at Curé of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, KS on Saturday, December 3 between 4-5 pm or Sunday, December 4 between 9 am and noon. If you are unable to pick up your fruit at these times, please email us at [email protected] and we can make other arrangements. If a particular Amigos participant has asked you to buy fruit, that participant will deliver your fruit to you; please contact the participant directly to make delivery arrangements.
How does the food pantry option work?
If you would like your purchase to be donated to the food pantry, simply select that option from the pull down menu when selecting the fruit you wish to order. Complete your purchase, and that’s it! We’ll take care of delivering your donation to the food pantry. We suggest purchases of oranges, grapefruit or clementines to maximize the value of your donation. The Johnson County Food Pantry is operated by the Johnson County Department of Human Services and serves needy families and individuals throughout Johnson County, Kansas.
Is my purchase tax-deductible?
Forty percent of the purchase price is considered a donation and may be tax deductible. Donations to the food pantry may be fully tax-deductible. You will be emailed a receipt.
